Episode 2 - Coincidence or Destiny?

YingLing spent the next few days wandering around Greece. She had no idea where the rings were. According to Professor Smith, the rings were not together. So even if she found one of the rings, she would definitely not have the luck to find the other one.

Finally, it was the day before YingLing leaves for Taiwan. She decided to wander around the jewellery shops that she once visited, making the last effort to find the ring. Maybe it was some particular telepathy, YingLing stopped in her tracks in front of one jewellery shop that looked old, with no customers inside. YingLing stepped inside the shop, and looked around the jewelleries that the shop sells. The owner smiled to himself. The one has come.

Suddenly, YingLing stopped, with her legs rooted to the ground. Did she see wrongly? Wasn't it the ring she was looking for? However, there was only one. YingLing bought the ring, opened her bracelet, and slidded the ring to the bracelet, acting as an accessory to it. She smiled to herself as she left the shop. Too happy to have found the ring, she did not notice Feng ChengYou on the other side of the street, with the other ring firmly held in his hand.

When she was on the private plane back to Taiwan, she had a conversation with ChengYou using the satellite to talk to him face to face. She showed him the ring, trying to hide her glee for luckily finding the ring. She sighed that it was too bad she could not get the other ring for ChengYou, if not she could test if the ring was real.

After the conversation ChengYou smiled to himself as he fiddled with the ring. Wait till YingLing gets home. She'll definitely get a great surprise, and a proposal that ChengYou have been planning since he found the ring.

Back in Taiwan

YingLing had finally reached home, and fiddled with the ring on her bracelet. Amy had asked why wouldn't she wear the ring on her finger, but YingLing simply shook her head. She liked it better to wear it with her bracelet. She was having a dinner with ChengYou later. She left her maids to sort out her luggage as she settle down to wear her white roller blades. One of her interests is to roller blade around the hill that her house was built on. There were only a couple of cars that travel on this hill, thus it was safe for YingLing to ride around.

"Missy! Remember to come back before 6.30! You are meeting Mr Feng at 7!" Amy called out as she watched YingLing riding out of the gate, waving goodbye and making an OK sign. Little did she know that not only will YingLing not be back, but she will not see her for a long time.

YingLing rode along the road, occasionally twirlling around in the middle of the road. Just as she was roller blading backwards, she heard the sound of the car motor. Just as she was turning around and moving to the side of the road, a car zoomed towards her.

Bang! Although YingLing tried to move to the side of the road, the side of her leg brushed against the car and lost control, banging her head against a tree, with the back of her head bleeding profusely. Before she lost conscious, she saw the reckless driver walking upon her, and finally she fainted, the tree which collided with the back of her head stained with her blood.

The driver squated beside YingLing, putting a trembling finger near her nose, to see if she was dead. Maybe he was too nervous, he felt that YingLing had stopped breathing. Shocked, he quickly stood up and drove away. Leaving YingLing there unconscious, the back of her head still bleeding profusely.

Cast

Feng ChengYou - The only heir of the Fengs' Entertainment Cooperation (FEC). The losing of his loved one made him reject any girl that his family introduced to him. Was finally giving up on YingLing and marrying RuiWen when he discover the existence on TianLan, and knew from her actions and the ring that she was indeed YingLing, but TianLan did not remember him. Causing him to try all sorts of ways, just to let her remember him.

Ruan YingLing/ Liao TianLan - Lost her memory during an accident and was saved by TianXiao. Was harrassed by ChengYou constantly due to her similarity with YingLing. The heiress of Ruans' fortune but due to a tampered will, she was left with nothing. Had depression but the only one who stayed by her side was TianXiao.

Liao TianXiao - Cold and does not expresses his feelings, especially his concern for TianLan. Originally wanted to treat TianLan as his sister but instead fell in love with her. The only one that can understand him is TianLan, thus he was hesistant to ask her to stay when she announced that she'll be working in FEC. Was happy enough to be a guardian angel of TianLan and guard her silently.

Chen Rui Wen - The one who tampered the will in order to let ChengYou's parents, give up on YingLing, who became penniless. Loved ChengYou and hated TianLan for coming into his life. Caused misunderstandings between them and even tried to persuade TianXiao to assist her in breaking them up.

Summary

An accident caused Ruan YingLing to lose her memory and from then on lost contact with all that she know, including whom she was going to marry, Feng ChengYou. The Ruans were devastated and as both the Ruans and Fengs, other than ChengYou, believed that YingLing had met some mischaps and had died though her body was never found.

On the other hand, Liao TianXiao discovered YingLing and sent her to the hospital. By the time YingLing wakes up, she had lost memory of everything. TianXiao had no choice but to take YingLing home, and gave her a new name: Liao TianLan.

There was but one only connection between ChengYou and YingLing. That was a magical ring that will turn its colour when the other ring owner is in some particular situation. The occasionally turning of colours of ChengYou's magical ring made him believed that YingLing was out there somewhere. But the problem is, where?
